Stage Door (GR 6-12) is a by-invitation theatre troupe for our most hard-core Crows! Stage Door troupe members are self-motivated and eager to learn and practice musical theatre, leadership, and ensemble skills. Stage Door troupe members develop soft skills similar to that of a sports team - confidence, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and more.
During Stage Door's 9-month season, troup members attend two weekly rehearsals and bi-weekly private vocal lessons. Each season Stage Door presents a 15-minute adjudicated cut of a MTI JR show at the JUNIOR THEATRE FESTIVAL - WEST in Sacramento, California (High School Musical JR - 2026), and produces a student-directed production (James and the Giant Peach JR - 2026) - with Stage Door taking on roles both in the cast AND the production team. Throughout the season, Troupe Members also perform in many of our productions, volunteer to help during shows or costume fittings, attend social events, and see local theatre performances.
