Acting I student performance will be held 11/18 at the end of the class session.
Acting I is designed for (GR 6+) newcomers curious about acting, and those who’ve previously dipped their toes in, and are now ready to take the plunge to add foundational skills to their actor's toolbox! Students will learn and improve skills such as timing, diction, body language, facial expression, eye contact, and action vs. reaction. Once foundational skills have been established, students will be cast in a group scene or short play and rehearse within their class, utilizing their foundational acting skills to prepare for the Term-End showcase, where students will perform a scene or short play for invited guests.
